Armed with the knowledge that Muslim women needed hijabs they could feel beautiful in and role models they could look up to, Haute has been bringing fashion-forward hijabs to women since 2010. The team here is small with an entreprenurial spirit. If you’ve got that, learn from the ground up with a focus on empowering women leaders across the globe.

It was time for an American brand to champion hijab.

We are Muslim-Americans. This is our home, this is our culture, and this is where our future lies. The first task was clear, we need great-quality hijabs that are stylish and beautiful and will allow us to express both our American and Muslim identities at the same time. In the beginning, I did what I knew best – I found scarves in vintage stores that could work as hijabs, restored them and sold them online. However, we knew that this was only a temporary fix. To provide access to the caliber of hijabs we were dreaming of, we would have to make them in-house. Ahmed and I spent months testing fabrics to create the perfect hijabs — they had to be breathable, washable, soft and durable. Inspired by the Islamic tradition of ihsaan – doing everything with beauty and excellence, we built an entire brand centered around the design and creation of the perfect hijabs. Today, we make hijabs that are so comfortable and beautiful, they elevate the entire experience of wearing hijab.

I love wearing hijab. It uplifts my spirit and informs my style. It keeps me grounded and is a daily reminder of my commitment to God and to my faith. Position Overview

We’re looking for a passionate Customer Experience Associate to join our fast-growing team as we build a global fashion brand dedicated to celebrating and empowering the hijab-wearing woman. For our Manhattan office, we are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person loaded with positive energy and a passion for writing and creative thinking to join our team and grow with our company.

In the role of CX associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential customers, investors, and partners by interfacing with them on a variety of channels (i.e. email, phone, facebook message, live chat, etc). In addition to this, you will also facilitate customer logistics by communicating with our warehouse and shipping teams and processing returns. As you grow in the position, you will also have the opportunity to take on additional projects to help build your understanding of the community and develop professionally.

Because we are a small team, being self-motivated is crucial as we continue to scale and grow as a company. We encourage our team members to think like entrepreneurs, constantly innovating and driving positive change while relentlessly delivering exceptional results. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide ridiculously great service to our customers.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to the rest of the HH team and stakeholders.
  • Interact with our product and design team to maintain a positive feedback loop.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Exceptional writing skills with a passion for communication and language
  • Understanding of the Islamic meaning behind hijab and other Islamic principles (you will need to answer faith-based questions from our community)
  • Proactive problem solver and critical thinker
  • Ability to foresee obstacles and remove them by providing insights to daily activities
  • Lots of attention and care to detail
  • Highly available, dependable hard worker
  • Immediate availability
  • Live in, or commuting distance to Manhattan
