Account Restrictions

Here’s what you need to know about account restrictions, including how to remove the restriction.

What am I restricted from seeing?

You currently don’t have access to the Review Directory, Member Directory, or Software Discounts and you won’t be able to start a new topic in the forums or attend events.

Why is my account restricted?

We restrict your account if you haven’t shared a case study within your first 45 days of membership. We send a number of emails and private message reminders before we take this action, but we understand that sometimes you just don’t get a chance to review those.

Why do I need to post a case study?

Case studies are sort of a right of passage for new members at eCommerceFuel. They not only provide value to other community members but act as your first real contribution. They also let other members know that you were a valuable addition to the Community!

What should my case study be about?

We are just looking for a minimum of 4-5 paragraphs (more is fine too!) on a topic that would be beneficial to other members. It can detail a success you have enjoyed, a strategy you have used to improve your business, or even how you overcame a failure. You can view what other members have shared right here.

How do I post my case study?

Please send a private message to Sheral from our team when you are ready to post your case study and she will unlock your posting ability.
