    Great episode! One small thing I can think of in favour of hosted carts is – if you need additional functionality and it isn’t available on the app store already you can develop an app and sell that to other shop owners, offsetting the initial cost of having development work done and potentially creating an entire new revenue stream!

    We did exactly this for our shop (www.beautifulbecause.com.au ) and created various apps including one for managing purchase orders and inventory forecasting (https://apps.shopify.com/stocky), which has been extremely useful in growing our business.

    Look at the limitations of hosted carts as opportunities !
